Mother Earth Smiling
I was sitting on the bench in the backyard watching “Kodi” playing and I happened to look down at the ground where the picnic table umbrella stand sat last Summer. It had been void of grass all Winter, but now, there were little clumps of green poking through the ground. Suddenly, I realized the clumps were arranged as ‘eyes’ and a ‘nose’ and a crack or ridge on the ground created a ‘mouth’.

Yes, I thought it was quite cool… all of a sudden there it was, sort of jumped out at me… a smiley face. š

I thought for sure somebody etched it with a stick. But sometimes, I guess, we catch the world winking at us!
